Job Descriptions
Job descriptions provide a "snap-shot" of the responsibilities assigned a position and the reason the position exists. They also provides information on the reporting structure and minimum qualifications. A well written job description is an essential resource to support recruiting efforts, performance evaluation and market pricing.
HR Factor consultants can assist you in developing your job descriptions or will review and evaluate existing job descriptions. Job descriptions will be reviewed or created to accurately reflect the duties performed. FLSA designation (exempt vs. non-exempt) is confirmed and applicable ADA information is included.
In addition to creating the job descriptions, we can assist your organization with developing career progressions and paths and/or make recommendations on collapsing job classifications or revising the title structure to support market pricing.
